Congratulations on your admission to Eastern Connecticut State University!  The following check list is offered to help you plan and prepare for your enrollment at Eastern.  We hope that it will help ensure a smooth transition to our university community this fall.  Please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions at 860-465-5286 if we can assist you in any way.

 

Incoming First-time Freshman Checklist

        Submit non-refundable deposit to Bursar as soon as possible.
         
        Please note that admission does not guarantee enrollment. The University reserves the right to return deposits
                 after reaching enrollment capacity.

                 Residential Students: $450 non-refundable tuition and housing deposit, if residing on campus.

                 Commuter Students:  $200 non-refundable tuition deposit.

        Complete mandatory placement tests

        Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid, if applying for financial aid

                 FAFSA completion preference date: March 15, 2009. For more information or questions contact the Office

         Attend the Reception for New Students on Sunday April 26, 2009 from 1pm – 4 pm                   

         Submit Preference Registration form

              Students who have submitted tuition deposits will be mailed Preference Registration information beginning in May.

         Reserve a mandatory Summer Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) date
                  
Deposits must be paid prior to reserving a SOAR date.

         Submit official transcript(s) for any transfer credit course work such as AP, TechPrep, college or university- level classes
                  taken in high school.

         Read the information about Eastern’s Liberal Arts Curriculum and First-Year Program

         Submit completed CSU Health and insurance forms prior to start of the fall semester
