Congratulations on your admission to Eastern Connecticut State University!  The following check list is offered to help you plan and prepare for your enrollment at Eastern.  We hope that it will help ensure a smooth transition to our university community this fall.  Please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions at 860-465-5286 if we can assist you in any way.

 

Incoming Transfer Check List

            

 

Submit your non-refundable deposit to the Bursar as soon as possible, but no later than May 1st.

Please note admission does not guarantee enrollment. Deposits must be submitted to reserve seats in class and residence hall space.  The University reserves the right to return deposits received after enrollment capacity has been reached.

                   Residential Students: $450 non-refundable tuition and housing deposit, if residing on campus.

                   Commuter Students:  $200 non-refundable tuition deposit.

 

Activate your Eastern email account.

Your Eastern email account will be used to convey important information regarding incoming student programs, placement testing, financial aid, and registration.  Activate your account immediately.

Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid, if applying for financial aid.

FAFSA completion preference date: March 15, 2010. For more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid at

Attend the “Reception for New Students” on Sunday, April 25th, 2010 at 1 pm. 

Plan to attend a mandatory transfer registration session in June.

Registration appointments are assigned to students based on submission of required non-refundable deposit and chosen program of study. An invitation will be mailed to you.  

Submit official transcript(s) from all previously-attended institutions as soon as possible.  Transfercredit
evaluations cannot be completed until the official transcript is submitted for review.
    
Submit completed CSU health and insurance forms prior to start of the fall semester.
Placement into appropriate Mathematics and English courses.
