China vs U.S. Management Styles a Comparison. Monday, Sept 14, 2009 at 4:00 pm, Johnson Room, Library.

Michael Sehnert, Vice President, Asia Rogers Corporation - from Suzhou, China will be speaking about comparing the management styles in China vs those in the United States. All Department of Business Administration students are encouraged to attend along with interested members from the area business community.



Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Executive Vice-President and Chief Economist Dr. Christine Cummings. Sept 29th, 2009 at 11:00 am, Johnson Room, Library.

The David T. Chase Free Enterprise Institute's guest speaker Dr. Christine Cummings will be showing her presentation entitled "The national and International Economy" Dr. Cummings is a chief economist of our nation's Federal Reserve System, serves as a principal advisor to Dr. Ben Bernacki, and is a member of the Open Market Committee which establishes our nation's monetary policy initiatives.

Mr. Polito, will explain the Small Business Administration’s Patriot Express Loan Guaranty Program for veterans and other members of the U.S. Armed Services seeking business loans.

Prospective students and their families interested in majoring or obtaining a minor in Business Administration, Accounting, or Business Information Systems are invited to attend the University Open House and visit the department tables for each of the three majors and associated minors where department faculty and students will be available to answer questions. Aetna Insurance CEO - Ronald Williams

Chairman and CEO of Aetna, Tuesday, October 20th, 11:00 am, Student Center Theatre.

The Chase Institute is pleased to announce Ronald Williams will be giving a presentation entitled "Health Care" on October 20th. Mr. Williams is the University’s Executive Professor for 2009-2010 academic year and a recognized authority on issues relating to national health reform.

Northeast Utilities will be discussing several different career tracks and opportunities for Business Information System students. These include career tracks as Business Analysts, Technical Support, and Network Administration. Many organizations are utilizing internship positions to lead to full-time career paths.
