Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)
AITP's mission is to give students in the Business Information Systems, Business Administration and Computer Science student
programs and courses an opportunity to gather information regarding developments not only in the information systems and technology
fields but also in their future careers and facilitate professional networking amongst other students and professionals alike.
Guest speakers provide opportunities to learn about new systems, technologies, up and coming business practices and innovations alike.
As a club, we visit local off campus businesses to not only take an in depth look into the business world, but also see some of the things that we as students might like to do in the future in our
careers.
AITP meeting dates occur bi-weekly, every other Wednesday from 3pm - 4pm during university hour at the Student Center room 109 our
upcoming meetings are 10/21//09, 11/4/09 (no meeting due to company
visit & field trip to New York City), 11/18/09, 12/2/09 and
12/16/09.

Website: The AITP Chapter is invovled in a variety of community service projects
such as designing and maintaining database driven websites for local non-profit organizations.

Eastern Accounting Society
We provide our members with accounting experience and opportunities outside of the classroom.
Active participation in events allows students informal and formal contact with accounting professionals.
The Accounting Society encourages the professional and personal development of an individual by enhancing communication and organizational skills;
as well as developing a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
We meet Wednesdays at 3:00 pm in the Student Center, room 115
