Software for Department of Business Administration Courses

The Department of Business Administration belongs to the Microsoft Academic Alliance. This allows the department to distribute some Microsoft software application products to students to install on their own computers needed for specific department courses or independent studies with department faculty members. Special Microsoft software required for department courses is also made available in the appropriate classroom labs.

Computer Labs

Students taking classes in the Department of Business Administration may use the Webb 410 computer lab to work on their homework and project assignments. Student project teams may also use Webb 408 to collaborate together to work on their computer related team projects. Special Computer Lab Help Sessions are routinely scheduled by department faculty in the computer classroom labs where the special software applications required for specific courses are installed.

Software Training and Support

The Department of Business Administration has student tutors available in the Academic Advising Center in Smith Library (Room 107 - first floor) that are trained on many of the software applications that are used in the department's courses. Please schedule an appointment with the tutors if you would like additional technical support by calling (860) 465-5198 or see the schedule at
