The Department's primary objective is to prepare its majors for positions as Environmental Technicians/Scientists, Environmental Analysts, or Earth Science Teachers. Prospective teachers should consult the Education Department for certification requirements. The department also encourages its majors to pursue graduate studies in related fields.
