Senior cuts more than a minute off his time on this course from a year ago

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Senior Sam Buczek (Milford) finished among the top 25 percent in a field of 294 runners Saturday at the ECAC Division III Men's Cross Country Championship Meet at Mt. Greylock High School.
Buczek placed 73rd overall in a time of 28:35, which was more than a minute faster than the time he posted on this course last year at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship.
The team's No. 2 runner this year, Buczek was the only one of the team's top seven runner to compete. The others - among them No. 1 runner Dave Hunt (New Milford) -- will await this coming Saturday's regional championship meet at the Twin Brook Recreation Center in Cumberland, ME.
