A four-year member of the program making her 40th career appearance, Reichardt made saves on 32 of Ramapo's (1-0) 36 shots on cage. She allowed only one goal in the second half and none after the opening minutes of the second half.
Coming off a 9-10 season, Ramapo dominated over the first 35 minutes, scoring three times in a span of ten minutes. In the first meeting between the programs, Ramapo unloaded 25 shots in the first half before the Warriors answered with all eight of their shots and all eight of their penalty corners over the final 35 minutes.
Returning scoring leader Amanda Barretta, a senior forward, scored three of Ramapo's goals, opening the scoring in the 16th minute and making it 4-0 in the opening minutes of the second half. Barretta put nine of her ten shots on cage, while senior midfielder Jayne Manigrasso collected 11 of her team's 41 shots, putting all of them on goal and knocking one in to make it 2-0 with the 20th minute.
Eastern senior forward Chelsie Rizzo (Bethel) connected on her second career goal midway through the second half on an assist from junior midfielder Rochelle Normandin (South Windsor).
Reichardt's save total broke a 13-year old record of 26 set by Stacey Bulkeley against Plymouth State University on October 17, 1998.
