Eastern Connecticut State University seniors Salieu Bolivar, Tommy Flynn and Michael Sullinger (shown above in Friday night's game) helped the West team defeat the East, 14-11, Friday night in the annual New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Senior All-Star Game at Harvard University. All three Eastern seniors scored goals for the West,which scored four straight goals in a span of seven minutes in the fourth quarter to snap a tie. Eastern fifth-year assistant coach Dave Carpenter served as a co-coach for the West team. Bolivar, Flynn and Sullinger helped the Warriors win the Little East Conference regular season and playoff titles this past year and qualify for the NCAA tournament for the seventh time in 12 years. All three were first-team All-LEC picks, with Flynn additionally honored as LEC Defensive Player-of-the-Year.
