It may seem expensive to take a WinterSession course, considering that you have to pay extra. However, taking a WinterSession or summer class can help you speed up the time it takes you to graduate.  Staying at Eastern for an extra semester or year is much more expensive than taking a few courses during winter or summer.  In addition, in WinterSession, there are no extra fees other than the  $40 registration fee plus the cost of tuition.  Also, if you take one of your LAC or major courses during WinterSession, you may be able to free up your schedule in the future so you can take an internship, where you can get "hands on" experience in a field of your choice.  In today's economy, real world job experience may just give you the edge you need to get hired after college.  So, think seriously about accelerating your degree progress by registering for a WinterSession course at Eastern.
