Spend a month in Alicante Spain this summer with Professor Agustin Bernal and other Eastern students and earn 6 credits.  An informational meeting for the trip will be held next Wednesday, February 22nd in Webb Hall, Room 223. The meeting will be from 2:30-3:30 P.M. and will discuss trip details, payment, and credits. As of right now, the trip is approximately $4500 and covers ALL expenses for the month long program.

Eastern is returning to Ghana for a Global Field Course this summer from July 5-16, 2012.  The approximate cost, all inclusive, is $3,600, which includes airfare, ground transportation, housing and most meals.

Register for Summer or Fall 2012 Internship PBH/BIO 494 Field Internship in Public Health.  The prerequisite is permission from Professor Yaw Nsiah.

What are the benefits of this global field course?

You will learn about public health in Ghana including traditional healers; assist in local schools and at Mampong Orphanage; learn about ecotourism and go on safari at the Mole Game Reserve; and visit local chiefs, a voodoo shrine and the Elminia slave castles.
