On January 15th, Eastern's President Elsa Nuñez was invited to participate in the Governor's Early Childhood Summit: Investing in the First 1,000 Days. The summit was hosted by Governor M. Jodi Rell and the National Governor's Association and featured Dr. Jack Shonkoff, founder of the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University.
