AT&T will begin supporting MMS messaging beginning Friday, September 25th. This won't have any impact on iPhone 1st gen, but will work with iPhone 3G and 3GS. Check your text messages - AT&T began sending MMS announcement reminders to iPhone subscribers today.

Tough question? Not really - the short answer is "Get it". On the face of it, it looks like a minor upgrade, but the reality is if you use your iPhone for your Eastern calendar, you definitely need it. 3.1 includes some important bug-fixes for invitation management and Exchange syncing issues. If you use Entourage 2008 from off-campus, you probably realized, almost immediately, that you can't lookup users in the Global Address Book, also known as the "GAL". Fortunately, one of the smart folks at Microsoft created an AppleScript that is easy to install and even easier to use, that allows you to search Eastern's Global Address Book and even display the user's contact information.
