The Eastern Connecticut State University Percussion Ensemble encompasses a broad spectrum of musical styles from original and transcribed works in the percussion and marimba ensemble repertoire to traditional West African hand drumming.
Starting in 2006, the ensemble began performing as part of the Eastern Percussion Exposition, a concert showcase of ensemble and solo percussion performances. Beginning in 2010, the Eastern Percussion Ensemble will be the sole performing group representing the Eastern Percussion Studio.
