The Department of Psychology develops students' understanding of the diversity of human behavior and of the variables which influence it. Students will learn critical thinking skills and demonstrate an understanding of the importance of empiricism as they develop the knowledge, abilities, and skills of the science of psychology. Consistent with the University's liberal arts mission, written work is a required component of all psychology courses. Graduates are prepared to enter a variety of career fields or enroll in a program of advanced study.
